VANCOUVER SERVICE.
(Per Press ’Association.') n,. r Wellington, last night. The Government is still trying to establish cargo communication betwebn Vancouver and New Zealand, if It can be arranged without paying too much, in the hope that when such a service is opened it would maintain itself. For that reason the proposal, for, which £IO,OOO is on the estimates, has been limited to one year Sir Joseph Ward said it would be a good thing for the colony to got communication, with Vancouver as well as with San Fran oisco.
