At St. Andrew’s Chnroh yesterday afternoon Miss Looa Haneon, eldest daughter of Mr A. Hansen, Haiti, was united in the bonds of holy matrimony to Mr Thomas Fraser, thicd son of Mr T. Fraser, of Louasva. Tho bride was given away by her father, and wore a dress of White Bilk, elaborately trimmed, and the orthodox wreath and veii. The bridesmaids were Misses Daisy Hansen and I Mary Fraser, who wore dresses of cream 1 voile and blank pioturo hats, OBtrich tipped. Tbs bridegroom was attended by Messrs It. Fraser and O. Hansen. Tho | marriage ceremony was performed by tho Bov. J. G. Paterson. After the ceromony the bridal party drove to the residence of tho bride's parents, where the wedding breakfast was served. Tho young couple, who are both well-known, received a largo number of presents, ; Tho bridegroom’s present to the bride was a dagger shaped brooch studded with diamonds, and to the brideamaids gold brooches. Another wedding of local interest wpb solemnised at St. Andrew’s Churoh by the Rey.-'J, Gt. Paterson yesterday afternoon, when Miss Jane Oolley, daughter of the late Mr Charles Colley, was united in holy wedlock to Mr .Francis John Round, eon of Mr C. P. Round, Napier. The bride wore tj dress of white silk, with the oustomary wreath and veil. The bridesmaids were Misses Round a?\d Winifred Barrow. The bridegroom was attended by Mr Cecil Skoet as best maD, and Mr E, Somervell as groomsman. At the conclusion of the marriage service the party drove to the residenceof Mr John Somervell, where the wedding breakfast was partaken of. The happy oouple left for their future homo in Napier by the s.a. Mokoia last evening.
