Maillard, New South Wales,' with a 12-horse power Brazier car, shr 54mm. Next came T. H. Gard, Victoria, 84-horse power Brown motor cycle, 6hr lfiimiu.
Melbourne, Fob 21. Tbo bodies of two dead infants have beeu found in tho city, making 11 in three months.
Received 1.7 a.m., Feb 22. . Sydney, Feb 21. Arrived, at 11 p.m., tbe Mooraki. Tho Australasian Lawn Tennis Association bavo nominated N. E. Brooks and A. W. Dunlop, of Victoria, and H. A. Parker and A. F. Wilding, of New Zealand, to compote in the Davis Cup. Brooks and Wilding are already in England. Tbe Rev. Sellars has been elected president of Ihe Methodist Conference, which this year celebrates its jubilee. A fire at Bourke destroyed seven chops. The damage is X7OOO. 1
Adelaide, Feb. 21. As a result of tho high prices in Europe the Colonial Sugar Company, is despatching a steamer to Liverpool with 4500 tons of Java sugar, a portion of the Adelaide and Melbourne reserve stocks.
Tho Premier, Mr Jenkins, shortly proceeds to England to act as AgentGenoral.
