GISBORNE ROWING CLUB,

The final heat for tho .Schumacher Cup, presented to the Gisborne Rowing Club,' was rowed on Saturday evening between Donkin and Bayley, and after a good struggle resulted, in a win for Donkin by over a length. The winning crew consisted of Donkin (str), Smith, Pullen and DeLautour; Neil, cox., and the veteran thoroughly deserved his win, having by hard work and consistent training placed another victory to his credit. The selection committee on Saturday evening seleoted the following crews for the President’s foursßayley, Sharp Doyle Butler; Wauobope, Hamilton! Richards, Cumming; Adair, Brooking, Keiha, Dobson; Donkin, Martin, WilhamsoD, Nafuseh; Williams, Smith, Hamilton, DeLautour ; JohnstoD, Swinnerton, Evans, Symes; Hansen, Nolan, G. Buscke, Rangi.
