LAND COMMISSION

(Per Press Association.) Dunedin, last night

The Land Commission met formally at the Land Office this morning, all the members being present except Messrs Forbes and Johnston. It was decided to have the meetings open to the press so far as the taking of evidence was concerned, but the discussions would be in committee. Tho first evidonco will be taken at Invercargill on Tuesday.
