LABOR DISPUTES
(Par Pyess Association.) Wellington, last night. At a meeting of the Conciliation Board to-day it was intimated that tho dispute In tho furniture trade had been amicably settled ■ at a conference of the employers and the union. Tho Board was asked to incorporate the result m an agreement. The chairman of the Board complimented tho parties on the good feeljiDg shown in settling the matter, and thdded that the moral effect ot thi3 result would undoubtedly be felt in the oountry districts in which the Board had now to " .alio a case. ■ - ._
