The fourth wool sale of the season was held to-day. The number of bales catalogued was 2200. The prices realised for ecossbred were fully id to Id per lb below jthos3 ’ruling at last sale* lismbs wool showed a'decline of ii.

Later : At to-day's sales about 2200 bales were catalogued. There was a fair muster of buyers, but the bidding was for the most part lifeless. The prices quoted are aidto id below last weok’s rates. Prices ruled : Crossbred medium to fine, fair condition, 7Jd to BJd; do coarse, fair condition, 7d to 8d ; lambs, 7d to B£d; do, seedy, : 5d to 6£d; pieces and bellies, 4d to 6i; hooks, 2d to 4d. The bulk of wool offered was of indifferent quality.
