AUCKLAND BADLY DEFEATED. Per Press Association. ! Auckland last night. The oricket match Australia v. Auckland was resumed to-day in beautiful weather. The Australians, who had one wicket to fall, completed their innings. Armstrong and Cotter hit merrily, and carried the score to 442. In Auckland’s second innings the only man to make a stand was Oliffe. A rot set . in, and all were out for 107, Auckland being beaten by an innings and 160 runs.
