A CHILD KILLED.
(Per Press Association. 1 ) Ashburton, last night. This morning a daughter of Mr Charles Bennett, aged one year and eight months, while playing in her father’s yard, was run over by a wheel of a threshing combine, drawn by a moving traotion engine. The child was killed instantaneously, the wheel passing over its head. A verdioi of accidental death was recorded.
