Joseph Doherty, aged 28J a horsetrainer, was found dead on the Taradale road this morniDg, death being duo to hemorrhage of the lungs. , Mrs Masters, victim of the Hastings shooting affray, is still in a very critical condition, although the bullet has been extraoted. Wellington, last night. A married man named James Larwood who accidentally fell down the hold of the steamer Mararoa, sustaining a fractured skull, lies in the hospital in a serious condition.
