KELBURNIE-KARORI TRAMWAY. I (Per Press Association.) I .Wellington, last night. I The annual balance sheet of tho I Kelburnio-Karori Tramway Company I shows the receipts to ba L 4372. The amount to the oredit of the profit and loss account is L 1368, from whioh the directors recommend a dividend of five per cent on I preference shares, and to oarry forward £B6B. During thß year 643,000 passoDgsrs wero carried, ‘ x FIRE AT FEATHERSTON. An eight-roamed house, occupied by Mr Aitohison, was burnt down last night at Featherston, A death occurred in the j house in the afternoon. Tho furnitnre was insured for L 250 in the Standard Office, and the house for L2OO in the Victoria Office.
