SHOCKING ACCIDENT.

Ward, hairdresser, I Tory street, sustained dreadful injuries this ■; *' J afternoon by falling under an eleotrio J car at Oriental Bay. It appears the boy [ fell while running alongside the oar, and I one of his arms must have gone under the . I oar. He was then struck: by the under gear. The ear was pulled up ehort, and the unfortunate child, who was extricated in an unconscious condition, was then found to have sustained a very bad scalp wound_ and a fractured skull,.while his upper jaw was broken and lower jaw ap parently dislocated.
