FISK JUBILEE SINGERS.

To say the music-loving peoplo of Gisborne are in for a treat on Saturday, Monday, and Tuesday next is but just, and the receptions the above talented combination of musical artists are meeting with nightly in the Southern town, should be sufficient guarantee to the merits of the Company. Since last the Pisk Jubilee Singers visited Gisborne a number of new artists have been added, inoluding the great American tenor, Mr Clarence Tisdall, who it is said possesses a voice of marvellous range and purity, and is so popular with the audience that he never gets off without having to sing as many as four songs. Tho other new members are Miss McClain, lyric soprano, and Miss Baptiste, “ messo,” , Tho papers speak in glowing terms of Mr Harry Newton, the basso, as possessing a voice of fine volume, and ho is a powerful addition to tho already strong combine. The old favorite, Miss Belle Gibbons, lady baritone ; Miss Mercer, contralto ; Mr K. H. Collins, the versatile, and Professor C. A. White, musical director, all come in for high praise— There jvill be three concerts only given in Gisborne, and three distinct programmes will be submitted.
