FLAXBOURNE ESTATE.

Blenheim, last night. The following witnesses have given evidence on behalf of claimants : JJ. Robinson, of Cheviot; R. Latter, of Akaroa; J. Davis, of Manawatu; J. Oliver, of Cheviot; J. Coops, of Little River ; ' 3?. Lethbridge, of Turakina. The value of the eßtate, including the area served by the owners, ranges from £292,780 to £309,000. All describe the property as extremely healthy sheep country, and free from rabbits and noxious weeds, and capable of great improvement. Considerable proportion-was flat country, and fit for dairy farming. Mr Robinson, who managed 'Cheviot estate for sixteen, years, described Flaxbourne as better, if anything, than Cheviot. The case for tha owners will be continued on Monday.
