MURDER AT FIJI.
QUARREL OVER A GIRL. £ (Per Press Association.) Auckland, last night. News from Fiji states that an Indian is alleged to have been killed on January 15* by several of his countrymen, who are reported to have beaten him to death with sticks. The trouble is said to have been the result of a quarrel as to tho marriage of a girl. Tho man said to have been-c murdered wanted the girl as wife for his I son, as did also one of the alleged > assailants.
