DARING BURGLARY.

(Per Press Association.) I Auckland, last night. Burglars secured a good haul at the drapery establishment of J. RendelJ, Neiv- ' ton. An entrance was effected by one of the side doors, skeleton keys being used. The burglars then ransacked the till and secret fire-proof safe. The latter contained a sum of .£SO, which the burglars secured. It is thought the burglars were familiar with the premises, as to get to the secret safe, which was built principally as a safeguard against the ravages of fire, it was necessary to lift part of the flooring.
