TIMARU HARBOR.
£50,000 LOAN LIKELY TO BE APPROVED OF. (Per Press Association.) Tirnaru, last night. The pell on the Harbor Board’s proposal to raise a Joan of £50,000 is not quite complete, but has been carried by a largo majority in tho small polling booths. The figures so far are 1533 for and 44 against. About one third polled in Tiinaru borough.
