The mill tramway and a lauding bush also suffered. ~ -Far back in Bonny Doon Valley, Langford and Keoghan lost every-, thing - hut the dwelling. / Airs Keoghan, by mistaking the track in escaping from the house, became lost m the bush. She was rescued only, at one o’clock this morning.

Tho fire is still burning overj--where, and the danger is not yet over. Tho district is enveloped in dense smoke.

.Tho fires originated at the annual burning of bush. At Puponga on Friday a scrub fire did con&idc-rablo damage, and the mine was shut down for several hours to enable the miners to assist in fighting tho llamcs. Two miners’ tents were destroyed, and several mines in the hush were damaged.
