\ (Per Press Association.) Ohristohurob, lust night. The entrios at Addington comprised 288 cattle, 6944 sheep, and 814 pigs. The attendance was small. Fat oattlo: Although only 128 head were yarded there was vory poor competition, and ;a large proportion . were withdrawn, the values, however, Bhowmg lUtlo ohaDgo from those of the previous WB ®“; Steers sold at £S 7a 6d to £lO, heifers £5 6s to £6 12s 6d, oov s £5 2a 6a to £S 6s, or equal to 19s to 22s 6d per 100 Ibß. Fat calves: There was a fair entry, ana the sale of all was bettor than laßt week. Tne prices ranged from 6a 8d to 49a. Store -cattle: The yarding was very small, and thero was no improvement m prices. Yearlings sold at 25s to 693* 16 to 18 months (whioh included a good, line) 49s to 68s 6d, 2 year eld steers £4; 2a 6d, 2-year-old heifers £4, 8-year-old heifers ±6 11s, dry oows £1 12s 6d to £4 15s. Fat sheep: Several lines of prime wethers were included in a moderate entry as regards numbers, - and most of the ewes were of good prime quality. There was a . good demand for all descriptions, butchers being bare of stock'and for the greater part outbidding the exporters. The Mount Pleasant wethers were one of the best lines that has oome into the yards, and made the high average of 34s for the line of 220, with a very short range of prices between the top and the last pens. ' The current prices were: Prime wethers 21s to 16s lid, others 18s 6d to 20s, prime ewes 20s to 22s lid, medinm to good 17s to 19s Bd, aged 15s to 16a 6d ; merino wethers, medium 15s 4d. *
Fat lambs:.The entry was not very large, but was of excellent quality and the bidding of both exporters and butchers being very keen. Prioes were rather better than ot last week’s sale. The best pens sold ot 18s to 20s, medium 16s to 17e 9d. Store sheep : The entry was email end buyers were few, but previous values were maintained. The prinoipal sales were 64 two-tooth ewes J at 17.9 9d, 102 mixed two-
tooth ~t 17- fid 53.1 v two-tooth wethers at 16s, and 50 ai 14s: 480 two and four-tooth wethers and ewee at'l6s 6d to 18s 6d.
Pigs : A small entry of baconers sold at about last? week's rates, porkers were rather better S'bres had a dull sale. Hnooners made 44s to 525, or 4d to 4£d p-.r lb, porkers to 4jd per lb, large stores 28s to 275/medium. 14s to 22a.small 6s to 12s. . ' .* . ; . j
