Tho Queensland-New South Wales match provided an exciting finish, resulting in a win for Now South Wales by two runs. With eight wickets down, Queensland required three to win, but the two lust wickets went for nil. Queensland, in their second innings, made 290. 'J’ho chief scorers wore Foster 131 and Macdonald 22.

Now South Wales, in their second innings, lost fivo wickets for 82 ; Muckuy 25, Duff 52.
