By Telegraph. Press Association. Copyright London, Dec. 21. The Duchess of Connaught officiated at the launching of H.M.S. Hindustan, a sister ship ol the Commonwealth, at Glasgow. Lend Selbcurne, in a spereh on the occasion, said the idea of the King Edward type of battleship was to group around _lhe Sovereign the component parts of the Em pirc, beginning with Canada and Australia, which had done so much for Britain in the South African war, and passing on to New Zealand, that wonderful coioDy that had sent ten contingents. The three final ships of the class would be named Rica, Hibernian, and Britannia.
