THE WAERENGA-A-HIKA SALE,

Tho periodical sale of stock was hold at Waeronga-a-hika Yards yostorday by Messrs Common, Shelton and Co. (Ltd.) and Messrs Dalgety and Co. (Ltd). There was a good attendance of buyers. The yarding consisted of 100 head of cattle and 2000 sheep. For all good lines of both sheep and cattle competition was good. None of the lots of young sheep offored were of first class quality, consequently the prices realized were relatively very good, Sheep : Two-tooth wethers 11s Id, 2,4, and 6-tooth ewes 10s 6d, 2-toofch (mixed) 11s, fat sheep (mixed sexes) 12s 4d, fullmouth ewes 10s, broken ewes 8s 2d to 8s 4d.

Cattle : Fat bullocks made up to JE7 10s, stores £5 17s to £6, weaners £2 2s, and 18 month steers £4. The next sale will be held on January 7, 1904.
