Lieutenant Schilling has beiyi sentenced to fifteen months’ imprisonment for 618 cases of maltreatment of German soldiers.
Sergeant Frinzky wias sentenced to fi v c years for 1520 cases. The latter habitually struck men with a stick, spat on their faces', and tortured them in every way. Count Limburgstrum, in the Reichstag, stated sergeants would find they were unable to lick men into shape, especially Socialists, with blows.
ST. PETERSBURG, Dec., 17. 'Jews and Armenians refuse to attend theatres and public places at Baku, as a potest against the Government’s high-handed measures.
