In the Magistrate’s Court to-day l , before Major Kcddell, S.M., John Frew, an old age pensioner, on two charges of obtaining a renewal of pension wiifnily by a false statement, was fined £lO, with 7s costs on each charge, and ordered to refund £36 wrongfully obtained.
