IN CHRISTCHURCH.

(Per Press Association.) Christchurch, last night,

An outbreak of the African horse disease, pink-eye, has occiirrod in Christchurch. About 100 horses are already infected, and ono or two have diod. It is supposed tho disease was brought over in troopers’ baggage, and has been lurking in the country ever since. Horses in livery stables have been largely affected.
