Berlin, Dec. 15, M. Bebel, in tho Reichstag, declared that the Government’s social programme was merely vague promises, and passionatoly declared that come what may the future rests with the Socialists. Herr Von Bulow ridiculed Bebel's tapeworm criticism, and blue vapouring.! about tho State of the future. Ho coudomnod tho Socialist's continuous barren criticism, and incessant appeals to tho lowest instincts of blind fanaticism, and narrow minded dogmatism. If the Social democracy triumphed it would soon be replace! by military dictatorship. He did not believe tha Socialists would conquer if tho middle class parties resolutely faced the danger. Referring to the Far East, he said he would not burn his fingers in tho way of interference, except to guard Germany’s possessions.
