Tuttonic; Italian Minister of •Foreign Affairs, visited Mr Bertie, the British Minister, and expressed Italy's gratitude at Captain Gaunt’s prompt and courageous action in connection with Fort Durbo, which he declared would further strengthen the Anglo-fialian friendship. A special message of thanks was sent on behalf of iiie Italian Government to Captain Gaunt.;
