It will bo hardly necessary for us to remind our readers of the important land Bale, which will bo hold next Saturday, ]9th inst., when the well-known Whataupoko Estate will be offered for sale by public auction, The plana have been out for some time, and it can be seen at a glance that the property has been very judiciously sub-divided into farms calculated to 6uit the requirements of all classes of purchasers. This sale will afford an opportunity of securing choice sections most conveniently situated, the greater part of it being first-class land which is bound to greatly increase in value from the improvable nature of the soil, growth of dairying, and increasing population. As some of the purchasers may require a portion of the capital for improvements tho executors have introduced a special concession which spreads tho second 20 per cent, of the purchase money over two years, in the case of those purchasers who have fenced and put their holdings into profitable use within the first six months.
