MOTU DAIRY FACTORY

(To the Editor of the Times.)

Sir,—l have just got back from the Motu, and I see that there ia an error in the report of the dairy faotory machinery. Instates that the separator is a 440-gallon turbine, whereas it should read the separator is a 440-gallon DeLaval belt, driven and fed by a 440-gallon DeLaval steam turbine pasteuriser. Kindly give this correction, as the turbine separators are not a success where there is power to drive belt ones, and to Bay tbot the separator is a turbine is to say that it is a second-class separator.—l am, &0.. Thos. McGregor,
