Thero waa a large attendance of dairymen at the meeting in Christohurch this evening, when farther discussion took place in regard to the eruaade against tuberculosis cattle. Several local membors of Parliament attended by invitation. They expressed sympathy with dairymen, but said they could not support the demand that owners of condemned cattle should receive full value as compensation, though they thought that the Act might be altered so as to oxtond the limit of ege after *the compensation is not given. The meeting i decided to appoint a deputation to wait on the Minister for Agriculture when ho arrives in Christchurch on Saturday of next week.
