Good greasy combings are well maintained. Scoured faulties are weaker. Crossbreds are unchanged. Sydney, Nov. 27. At the wool sales greasy sold to llld, scoured 18^d. Melbourne, Nov. 27. At the wool sales superior Merino is very firm. Good to average ,is in better demand. Crossbreds are unaltered.
Messrs Dalgety and Co. have 'received the following cablegram from their London office Wool sales opened, large attendance of buyers, competition animated, indifferent selection. As compared with closing rates of last series, merino wools are at par to 5 per cent, lower, fine crossbred wools 5 per cent, to 10 per cent, lower, coarse crossbred wools in general are 10 per cent, to 12J- per cent, lower,"
