UNITED V. UNION,
An interesting game took place yesterday afternoon on the Victoria Domain between the. above clubs. Scoring was very low owing to the unevenness cf the wicket and the proficiency of the bowling United batted first and wero disposed of for the small total of 33. J. Ferris and MeOonnoll shared bowling honors, the former boing particularly destructive. Uniou commenced badly ; Gardiner, who represented the Napier team that played here last year, securing three wickets in his first over. The innings of the Union closed for 29, leaving United victors by 4 runs. Following aro Stic respective scores •
