The Daily Mail’s Sydney correspondent says that much criticism has been provoked by the action of tbu State Secrotary in obtaining loans at an undisclosed rate of interest. The Ministry were waiting anxiously for the first signs of improvement in the London market, as they had large loans to float, and must borrow shortly at whatever price was offered.
