A combination of the Federal, Moulder, and Shire lines, trading between Australia and South Africa and Europe, has announced that joint fleets, comprising 33 largo steamers, all fitted for carriage of frozen and other produco, of an aggregate tonnage of 226,000, will make regular sailings from Australia, carrying passengers and cargo.

South Australia in the cricket match against Victoria made 294 for tho lost of seven wickets. The principal scores were : Gehrs 34, Hack 22, Hill 147, Jennings 37. Hill played a superb, chanceless innings of 204 minutes. His score included 17 fours. He was finely stumped by Monfries. The weather was fine and the wicket good.
