Nothwithstanding the unfavorable state of tho weather 1 yestorday afternoon tboro was a largo attendance of bowlers at the Gisborne Clue’s greon, and several interesting matches wore played. Tho teams selected for tho Auckland tournnment wore challenged by two teams skipped by Messrs Witty and Simson, and after two yory exciting games the rop3 won on the .aggregate. Messrs Hogg and G.
