Per Press Association. HOKITIKA, last night. . Thomas Kioly, an old ago pensioner was found,dead in tho streft at midnight. He is supposed to have died from natural causes.

Reofton, last night. Mr A. E. JoDes, M.A., muster of secondary subjects at tho local High School, died uuoxpectediy yesterday afternoon. He was seized with searlot fever, pneumonia and bronchitis shortly after his arrival hero. He partly recovered, but expired suddenly when sitting on tho verandah, Ho was aged 31, and leaves a wife and four young children.
