COMPENSATION CLAIMS.
(Per Press Association.) Christchurch, last night, In tho case of Pratt v. the Union Company, claim £2OO under tho Workers’ Compensation for Accidents Act, tho Magistrate gave judgment for £8 2s Id, in addition to the sum paid into Court by defendants, making with what the plaintiff had received from the Railway Department a total of £25.
In Heath v. the Union Company, a claim under the same Act, judgment for defendants, plaintiff ha’”' .vent compensation from rßceiVßd ment and h'* - uB Rallwa y Depart--oing therefore precluded under ..,e .act from proceeding against the other | party liable.
