Dunedin, last night. In connection with the Presbyterian Assembly the garden party which had been arranged for the afternoon had to be changed to an indoor meeting on account of the rain. The First Church was crowded, and selections od the organ, vocal solos, and brief addresses took up the time. The evening was devoted to a young people’s rally, the church again being crowded. The Evangelists’ Com* mittee’s report was adopted, special reference being made to the Rev. Jamieson’s splendid work, and he was reappointed travelling secratary for anotheryear. The report of tho Sabbath school teachers examination was adopted, and the recommendation to hold the next examination on September 29th, 1904, was adopted,
