THE WHATAUPOKO ESTATE

An important land sale will be held on Saturday, Decombor 19, when the Whataupoko Estate, comprising about 4000 acres, will be submitted to public auction.’ Tbs property is well known as that of the late Mr Percival Barker, and is being offered on exceptionally easy terms. It has been cut up in sections to suit everyone. There are nine suburban sections of twelve acres each on the Ormond road ; a score or more small farms averaging from 20 acres to a hundred, and a number of larger lota. The homestead will be offered along with 185 acres, and the purchaser of this fine property will be able by also securing contiguous lots 48 and 53 tq obtain a farm with 348 acres of fiat land and 582 acres of hill. The sale will be conducted by Messrs Williams and Kettle, Intercolonial Rand Agency, and Messrs Common, Shelton and Co. (Limited). The land is of first-class quality, eminently suitable for dairying, and there should be. keen competition for the sections. Townspeople looking for a country home could not find a more suitable looalifcy. .
