(Per Press Association.) 'Ashburton, last night. There was beautiful weather for the People’s Day at the Show, a record attendance, about 7000, beiDg on the grounds. The principal prize-takers were Pigs, Berkshire boars, G. E. Rhodes 1, John Olsen 2 ; sows, G. E. Rhodes 1, W. Moses 2; Lloyd-Lindsay competition, Sergeant Hopwood 1; driving, W. J. Silcock 1; hunters, Elworthy Bros, 1, D. W. McLean 2, C. C. Roberts 8 ; ponies, Percy Jones 1, J, Griffin 2, W. Begg 3.
