SPRING MEETING. SECOND DAY! The Poverty Bay Turf Club brought their Spring Meeting to a close yesterday, and notwithstanding the threatening state of the elements there was a large attendance. Speculation was remarkably brisk, and during the day the sum of £3917 was passed through the totalisator, as against JE3824 last year.
