WELLINGTON, last night, i Tho London solicitors who acted for Kerry, owner of the yacht Ariadne, wrecked on the Waitaki beach in 1901, have cabled their local agents stating that Kerry has won his case against Lloyd’s underwriters. Tho claim was for ifiiO.OOO, but the amount for which judgment was secured is not stated. kCHRISTCHURCH, fast night. Two compensation for accident cases are being hoard in tho Magistrate's Court to-day, George Pratt and John Heath, railway lumpers, each claiming 11200 from the Union Company, damages lor injuries sustained while assisting in discharging cargo from the Kittiwa and Waikaro at Lyttelton.
