TIMARU SHOW.
Per Association. Timaru, last night.
People's day of the Timaru show was affected in attendance, and to some extent in oxhibits, by a wot night arid damp morning. The attendance is estimated at 5000. The best section was sheep, English Leicesters from four local flocks. There was a large entry of draught and light horses. 'The Government stallion won in thoroughbreds. Champion draught, Dalwir Prince (Oamaru); marc, J■ Tay lor. Tho shorthorn bulls shown by W. Nison, of North Canterburbury, made the cattle section good. Fat cattlo was a good section, also in best dairy cow. Pig 3 from North Canterbury, and farm and dairy produco made a poor showing. There was a good variety of implements, including seven makes of oil engines for agricultural purposes.
