Dowie, replying io charges that he did not support tus father, o'cclarctl that John Murray Dowie was not his real father. His real father was one of the officers of the Light Brigade who fought in the Crimea, and was entitled to wear a ducal coronet. He entrapped his mother into a Scotch marriage, and then deserted her. The audience hissed Dowie’s defamation of his mother,

ADELAIDE, Oct. 29,In reference to the foregoing cable message, Dowie’s brother, whg is a resident of Adelaide, states that his father and mother were married at Edinburgh. They lived happily together until his mother’s death nine years ago. The father went to America at the request of Dowie, who made him a handsome allowance until he married a second time against Dowie’s wishes. He docs not live in Zion City, but the brother knows that the father has plenty to live on. He never before heard anyth'ng of the story attributed to Dowie,
