TEAM FATALITY.

Per Press Association. Auckland, last night. A young man named Gooch, employed as a painter, met with his death with terrible suddenness this morning. Stepping off an electric car, he made an awkward attempt to alight at the front when tho car was moving slowly, and was thrown violontly under the wheels. Tho body was mangled terribly iu a few seconds, though the car had only moved a few yards. Jacks had to be utilised to raise the ear from tho body. Death must have been instantaneous. No blame is attributed to anyone, the accident being due to Gooch’s method of jumping from the car.
