TIMARU SHOW
(Per Press Association.) Timaru, last night. The 38th Show of tho Timaru A. and P. Society opened to-day. The woather was showery and cold, and the attendance small. Only sheep were judged to-day, and the driving and riding competitions. The latter was fairly well contested, and was won by local men. Sheop were in excellent show, at an advance on last year, and the competition was more widespread than formorly. Entries for tho whole Show were a largo increase on former years. Unless the woather clears the popular day to-morrow will not be a success.
