Hurdles: Killarney 1, Levant 2, Evening 3. Scratched: Defiance, Romany Lad, and Dr Bill. Won easily b.y half-a-dozen lengths. Time, 3.22 1-5. Div., £4 19s. Shorts Handicap : Field Battery 1, Platypus 2, Te Taiaha 3. Scratched : Ida, Starshoot, and Regiment. Won by threequarters of a length. Time, 1.3. Divs., £6 10s 6d and £2 0s 6d. Wellington Handicap: Pallas 1. Kelburn 2, Sbrapnell 3. Scratched : Hmetaura, Royal Fusilier, Provost Marshal, and Optimist. Pallas made no race of it, He was in front nearly all the way, and won very easily by fivo lengths, a neck be* tweon second and third. Time, 2.7 2-5. Divs., £2 13s and £3 14s. Rimutaka Hack Handicap : Australasia 1, Stepson 2, Cat3paw 3. Scratched : Pokeka. Won by half a length. Time, 1.31. Divs., JE3 14s and £2. Wainui Handicap : Platypus 1, Maro 2, Will-o’the Wisp 3. Scratched: Fleka, Hinekoa, and Dolaroy. Won by a length and a half. Time, 1.30. Divs., £4 17s and £2 Bs.
