Dowie’s vituperative attacks ou clergymen, Freemasons, journalists, and others exasperated his audience of 0000. Much disorder occurred. A guard of eighty followers escorted his carriage to his hotel, fearing ho would be mobbed. Tho meetings are a fiasco.
