London, Oct. 21. Lord Alvorstone and three American commissioners have signed the Alaskan award, Sir Louis Jetto and Mr Alan •Aylesworth abstuined, considering the finding in regard to the island at the entrance to Portland Channel and the mountain lino not judicial. They complain that Canadian interests were sacrificed, because awarding the islands of Kannaghunut and Sitklan to the United States gave America command of Portland Channol observatory, inlet, and ocean, the passage to Port Simpson destroying the strategic value to Canada of Wallis and Pearce Islands. They also complain that tho tribunal selected a line of mountains northwards from Portland Channol far back from the coast, clearing all bays, inlets, and means of access to the, sea giving tho United States complete land barriers between Canada and tho soa from-Portland Channel to Mount Stelias.
