Leids, editor of the Verwaerl, who ,was recently, released on hail, was .sentenced to nine months’ imprisonment for insulting the Kaiser, by publishing the story of the Spandau stronghold. Lcids declared that he was convinced of the authenticity, of the letter giving the story, but he declined to reveal the writer.
Kalmski.an editor, has been sentenced to five months for libelling Ilerr W. Dcthrotha, marshal of the Crown Prince’s Court.
Three Socialist provincial editors Including a member of the Reichstag received various sentences for reflecting seriously, on the Royal Family,
